My family and I took some time off to visit family in western Kansas. I was able to fit in a couple photoshoots while we were there and they were a DREAM. I think I’ve said “this is my favorite” 50 times while I’ve edited this high school senior session. (Maybe I’m just biased since she’s my niece but I think you’ll see why.) My husband helped me scout out this incredible spot for Isabella’s senior photos. It was absolutely stunning. The perfect backdrop for the style and look she wanted for her pictures.

Ball Family Session | Olathe Family Photographer

This sweet family showed up ready to rock their family photos! Their sweet little girl was not too sure at first but her big brother knows how to get a smile. Not only does he know how to make her smile but he asked multiple times during the session if he could hold her…I mean how adorable is that!

One of my favorite moments during their session was when we did the mother-son photos. I have no idea what she was saying to them but they thought it was hilarious! Way to go mom! I hope I know how to make my boys laugh like that when they are that age.

I think family maternity sessions are always extra special and sweet. This maternity session was perfectly timed for beautiful fall lighting and flowers…just what this momma wanted! Their sweet little girl is going to make the best older sister. I can tell she is going to love having a baby around for her to dote on, give kisses, and snuggle with. We spent the hour snuggling, flying like an airplane, riding on daddy’s shoulders, singing Let it Go and talking about Moana. I loved that we were able to capture the constant movement of her toddler years in such a fun and sweet way.

In-Home Newborn Photography | Prairie Village

I couldn’t wait to meet this little girl! This sweet and cozy little babe rocked her newborn session! She flashed a few quick smiles and I just barely managed to catch one. I could die over how sweet their dog is with baby girl. She has taken it upon herself to let mom and dad know when baby Evelyn is crying…just in case they miss it.

Extended Family Session Photographer | Anniversary Celebration | Shawnee Mission Park

I had a great time photographing this sweet family. It’s easy to see this family has a lot of fun together. The session was full of laughs, teasing, goofiness, and a grass hopper. Spending the hour with them for their session was almost like spending an hour with my own family.

I found out at the session that this was an anniversary celebration! Like most families, because of the pandemic they were unable to get together to celebrate. What a great way to celebrate after finally being able to get together!
